this little bear cub has been visiting quite frequently in the afternoons outside our building. i finally got him (or her) close by with my camera and was able to get something. in colorado, it is illegal to actually get too close to bears or to be too friendly with them at all. fortunately this was a cub, and i doubt it would attack me, but if mother bear comes along i probably would not be so close, they tend to be over protective for their little ones.
