this is the river by my house at around four in the afternoon. the water was colder than i thought and i had to take my shoes off to get this picture. i almost lost the camera in the river, but i managed to catch it in time, my tripod broke though.
i have a very classy clock, and it makes the most perfect ticking noise. when im sleeping it sort of makes me nervous. the light above it was precisely installed, very symmetrical for a picture.
my tribute to ansel adams. this was a long hike in the snow, the road is closed during the winter, so i had to walk 14 miles to get this one.it was pretty bright, so it looks better in black and white.
i don't have a macro lens, so i had to invert my only lens and try focusing the rose by moving myself closer and further to it. the wind didn't help. the rose is but the size of my thumb really.
i had to crop this image a little because the sun was too centered, it just didn't look nice. i shot it with a polarized filter, which probably gave me what i most like about it; the smooth reflection on the board. cheesy.
